bucks announced this afternoon He was promoted two spots to the active roster ahead of Thursday night’s game against the Bills (8:15 p.m. ET). Defensive tackle Deadlin Senato and safety Richard LeCounte III will be on the active roster, but it remains to be seen whether they can avoid being placed on the game-day inactive list.

Do the Bucs have a Vita Vea?

The Bucs’ promotion of Deadlin Senato is a cautious move as the status of nose tackle Vita Vea is still uncertain. Bear did not practice this week due to a groin injury and will be judged at game time. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo said the same thing this morning.

This is Senat’s second call-up, having been brought up before the Eagles game. Senat is a potential candidate to replace Veer, but safety Kayvon Meriwether will be replaced by Richard LeCounte III.

Merriweather injured his ankle in the game against the Falcons and left the game. If LeCant is indeed eligible, this will be his first regular season appearance with the Browns since 2022. He has appeared in 10 NFL games, nine of them with Cleveland during the 2021 season.

Both Senna and Lekanto provide additional depth and reinforcement for the backs when needed. As for other injury news, everything else is resolved. Quarterback Baker Mayfield (knee) and wide receiver Chris Godwin (neck) are expected to play tonight after being limited most of the week. Running back Chase Edmonds (knee) was activated yesterday and is expected to be placed on the 53-man roster and receive touches behind Rashard White.

Before tonight’s prime-time game, it was confirmed that one player would be absent from the starting lineup. It was also reported yesterday that left guard Matt Feiler will not play, and that Aaron Stinney will take his place on the offensive line. This will be Stinney’s first start since Week 11 of the 2021 season against the Giants. If not, he’ll have to get back to the solid run he last saw in consistent action as a replacement for Alex Cappa in the team’s 2020 Super Bowl. For Tampa Bay’s sake, they will surely hope he can have a similar impact within a Bucks team that has struggled through six games.
