BTS concert films have captivated ARMYs in the past, but this time, only Jungkook is preparing to hit your local cinema. On Thursday, July 11, the world-famous band’s golden maknae announced his next project, “I Am Still.” The news delighted fans, but there’s a lot of ambiguity surrounding it at the moment.
Considering that it is a theatrical release, “I Am Still” could be either a concert film or a documentary about Jungkook’s solo career, but there is no official announcement yet. While sharing the new update, K-pop idol management company Big Hit Music made the poster simple and minimalist, only displaying the title graphic and the description “Coming Soon”.

Jungkook is currently fulfilling his military service obligation, having enlisted alongside bandmates RM, V, and Jimin in December 2023. Prior to his enlistment, Jungkook released his first solo album, “Golden,” in which he collaborated with several big-name musicians, including Usher and Jack Harlow. In June, he released “Never Let Go,” a fan song dedicated to ARMYs in celebration of BTS’ 11th anniversary.
