The IGLS surrounded by the optimal scenery of the Tyrol Alps postcard is more than an escape for natural lovers. It is also the heavens of adrenaline addicts. In Heil Gwassal Weaze 1, a new experience is waiting for us at the foot of Pasel Cofel Mountain and the Innsbruck Olympic Bob Slate Rack house -Boboburafing!
Think of it as Bobsley for beginners. Sit in the pads and push down a 1,270 -meter downhill ice truck. Same as Bobsley used. Constructed for the 1976 Winter Olympics and is the only artificial ice bobslan in Austria.

Our experience began with a convenient K14 construction near the Bobsley parking lot with a cafe. Here we checked in and provided a lightweight Barakuraba to wear under the helmet. Seeing the first Bobsley rushing to the truck at a break neck speed, a slightly nervous laughter filled the air. In addition, I was able to see each descent on the large video screen.

The assigned time for our descent was 5:30 pm, but we recommended that you walk to the top of the truck for 20 minutes. It was a lively and exhilarating mountain climbing, and was separated by Bobster’s thrilling sight running around the truck at a surprising speed.

As we approached the top, Bobsley listened high at the corner of the bank and seemed to be thundering against gravity.

And at the beginning of ice -like labyrinth, the van was dropped off in two Bobsley, because more experienced participants were prepared in preparation for the final run of the day.

Here, Bob’s squid is ready, covered with pads for comfort and security, and resembles an oversized tobogan. There were no harness or elaborate seats.

We were supplied with helmets and were waiting for our turns with the fear of running through and excitement.

After a while, we pushed a little from behind, and we were off! Before Bob Raft found the rhythm, he did zigzags along the first stretch, so the first moment was almost comical. However, within a few seconds, the essence of the ride became clear. When the speed was rapidly built, and the cold wind rushed to our face, the ice -like truck turned into a white blur.

These Bob’s raft can reach the speed of up to 100 kilometers / h, and it feels very fast because you are very close to the ground. It’s like an exhilarating roller coaster without trucks.
In the finish, the stretching of the uphill (before the flat finish) delayed the steel covered Bobsley into a dignified stop. For us, things are quite different in a little aerodynamic craft. I couldn’t climb the hill, so we realized that we were in a hurry to the ice -like shot. Whether this should have happened (it was so!), We vibrated like a pendulum, eventually stopped, and stopped with laughter and adrenaline.
The experience was unforgettable. This is not just an old vehicle, but a unique opportunity to feel thrilling and speed even if Bob Seder races, even if you are not traveling too fast.
If you have the opportunity to try it yourself, this is an ice -like escape that makes you grin after you are over, and you can even remember your high -speed descent because it provides access to your video. Your experience after that. This is ours:
