IHG Hotels & Resorts is expanding across the UK by adding eight properties to its portfolio. London To Leeds and beyond.
According to the Hotel Group, the eight newly signed hotels will add over 900 rooms to a variety of IHG brands, including Hotel Indigo and Crowne Plaza. The new hotel is based on more than 360 properties that IHG currently operates in the UK and Ireland.

“This growth is driven by a powerful company that positions IHG as the first choice for our owners and our welcoming guests, and our colleagues working with us,” Joanna Kurowska, IHG’s vice president and managing director, said in a statement. “From innovating our brand and new hotel technology to the appeal and growth of our IHG One Rewards Loyalty program, we are continually looking to deepen our guest experience and provide more business to our hotels.”
In London, IHG will add a brand new Holiday Inn Express London, which is scheduled to open in a five-storey office building in Greenwich’s Royal District in the second half of 2029.
The opening complements Marylebone, which IHG debuted last year with 93 rooms in the heart of the most stylish and vibrant district last year.

The openings at IHG north of London include the brand new Hotel Indigories with 107 fully refurbished rooms (opened later this year), the Garner Hotel Nottingham city centre (scheduled to open in late 2025), and the 104 Boco Kobe (scheduled to open in late 2025).
This year, IHG is set to open 53 Garner Hotel Reading City Centres in convenient locations, including 114 Crowne Plaza East Midlands Airport and traditional townhouses, and has already opened 80 Garner Hotel Preston Samulsbury.
