Zoho Corporation has announced the release of Notebook AI, a note-taking assistant powered by AI, now available on iOS, Android, web browsers, and MacOS. Users can activate a 15-day trial to investigate the app’s functionality before purchasing. Pricing can be set to $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year for individual consumers. The company also plans to deploy notebook AI to business users within next month, at no additional cost to business plan subscribers.
Notebook AI integrates a set of artificial intelligence tools designed to enhance notebook take, organization, and content creation. The app includes features such as content generation, translation, transcription, and shape recognition. It also offers Bluepencil-powered grammar insights from Zoho writers and voice-driven search through Zia Search.
With the help of an interactive Q&A chatbot powered by Search Extended Generation (RAG) and Ask Zia, Notebook AI aims to simplify memo management and increase user productivity.
Notebook AI offers a variety of features to improve the quality and efficiency of writing. AI-powered grammar tools improve text by correcting errors, eliminating redundancy, and ensuring inclusiveness. Built-in plagiarism checkers help users maintain the originality of their work. Additionally, Notebook AI suggests related tags to keep your notes organized and searchable.
The app also supports seamless translation, allowing users to easily convert notes to various languages. “Notebooks go beyond note-taking and act as a powerful translation tool that helps you translate notes into any language,” Zoho said.
For users relying on audio input, Notebook AI includes a transcription feature that converts recorded audio into readable text, making it easy to document meetings, lectures and interviews. Handwriting and shape recognition tools further enhance your visual notes by refinement of handwritten text and completing the drawn shapes.
Notebook AI simplifies navigation with voice-activated search functionality. Users can quickly find notes without manually scrolling through entries or increasing efficiency and accessibility.
Currently available to individual consumers, Zoho plans to expand its notebook AI to business users next month. With a wide range of AI-powered tools, notebook AI is positioned to increase productivity and organizationality for users looking to streamline the note-taking experience across multiple platforms.
