Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson are back together in Den of Thieves 2: Pantera.
Extra’s Terry Seymour spoke to Gerard and O’Shea about the sequel. The sequel required him to film an intense heist scene in a neoprene suit off the coast of the Canary Islands in midsummer.
Gerard admitted. “I couldn’t breathe…my heart was racing…it felt like I was actually robbing people. I didn’t have much time and had to move quickly and I wanted to get as much as I could.” So I moved, but I ended up getting soaked day after day.”
When asked if he had stuntmen perform the intense scenes, O’Shea said: [Gudegast] As much as I like the script, he wants you to feel his character, but he likes to take shots in your face, so we have to actually go out and do it. Did…The style also allows the viewer to feel the intensity of the emotion. Just breathing while watching it adds even more suspense as you can see the pain in the eyes. ”
Gerrard said he would be reprising his “unforgettable” character Big Nick, while O’Shea said the new film would reveal Donnie’s true identity.
Butler said, “Big Nick is a fun character. I feel like he’s become an unforgettable character.”
O’Shea stated that his character had more of a disguise in the first film, but that audiences would understand better in the sequel.
Jackson was delighted to “reunite the band” and said, “This is the first sequel of my career, and it’s something very special to me.”
Gerald is also starring in the long-awaited live-action version of How to Train Your Dragon.
He said, “The story means something…I’m so excited to be able to play Stoick on the big screen.”
The role required him to wear an “insanely heavy” costume weighing 93 pounds. He explained: “I wore it from 7 in the morning until 7 at night…It was intense because you’re not just standing there…running around, fighting, even though it’s always a burden. , acting…even my eyebrows. What I was wearing was heavier than what I’m wearing today.”
Den of Thieves 2: Pantera will be released on January 10th.
