The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland hosted the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open, an event co-sponsored by the DP World Tour and the PGA Tour.
The tournament, which dates back to 1972, features defending champion Xander Schauffele, world number one Scotty Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler and Patrick Cantlay. Players are ready.
The event featured a total of $9 million in purses, of which $1.575 million went to McIlroy. Second place isn’t too bad either, with $975,500 going to runner-up Robert McIntyre.
A total of 77 golfers qualified and received rewards this week.
