5th Bigger Pockets Conference (BPCON) is just around the corner! It’s taking place in Cancun, Mexico from October 6th to 8th. We look forward to seeing you there in 31 days (or less, depending on when you’re reading this).
Whether you’ve already booked your trip or are still on the fence (what are you waiting for?), there are a few things you should know before packing your bags and heading to this real estate investor’s paradise.
Who’s going?
With over 1,000 attendees and counting, this event will bring together investors from across the U.S. and abroad. No special real estate investment strategy or experience level is required – everyone is welcome to attend.
Before you attend a conference, we encourage you to take some time to think about who you want to meet so you can get the most out of your experience. Chances are your next partner, accountability buddy, agent, lender, or real estate-enthusiastic friend will be in attendance.

When you arrive in Cancun (Cannes) to our host resort, Moon Palace Sunrise, is just a 15-minute drive away. You can use your preferred mode of transportation, including Uber and taxi, but we recommend booking in advance with Edge Transportation, the resort’s preferred vendor.

Events you won’t want to miss
We’re known for putting on some pretty epic events, and this year will be no exception. The purpose of our conference events is to give you the opportunity to meet other attendees, while having a cool experience in an amazing environment. After all, it’s good to have fun, right?
Sunday opening event
The conference will kick off on Sunday with a poolside opening event sponsored by Easy Street Capital. Put on your favorite resort wear and head to the pool area to mingle with other attendees and enjoy unlimited beer, cocktails and local cuisine. We encourage everyone in your party to join us.
Happy Hour and Author Signing in the Exhibit Hall on Monday
On Monday, we’ll be hosting a Happy Hour in the Exhibit Hall, where you’ll have the chance to enjoy drinks and snacks, meet over 60 companies helping you power your real estate business, and get your favorite book signed by a BiggerPockets author.
Don’t have space in your luggage to bring along your favorite BiggerPockets Publishing books? Don’t worry, we’re building a beautiful bookstore on-site at the event so you can purchase books by your favorite authors.
Closing Event on Tuesday
Following the closing keynote on Tuesday, the conference will conclude with spectacular beachside entertainment, an open bar, and extravagant food stations. Get ready to rock your final night in Cancun!
Additional Events
On Sunday we’ll be adding two more events for even more fun, networking and sunshine. Both events accommodate 50 participants and unlimited spectators. Even if you’re not interested in playing, you’re still welcome to join us with a cold drink at the pool bar.

What to do when you arrive
You’ve arrived at Moon Palace! If you’re arriving on a Saturday or Sunday, the resort will likely direct you to satellite check-in at the Conference Center, located in the building next to the Sunrise check-in lobby.
Here you will check in to your room at the Moon Palace (you will need passports for everyone in your group upon arrival) and, to make things even more convenient this year, you will also be able to check in for the conference in the same area.

What to bring
Pack as you would for a beach vacation, but bring layers of clothing, as conference centers are often cold. There is no dress code for the conference, just wear what you feel most comfortable with. Participants typically wear business casual attire.
For the opening event, fun floral or resort wear is recommended, and for the closing event, we will be having a neon and fire themed event, so if you want to dress in theme, come along and join us!
