“I moved from Florida to Virginia for a job that I wasn’t actually hired for,” she says cheerfully into the lens. While preparing to apply cosmetics and applying makeup to her face, Spina suddenly applied for a job she found online and received a response from a representative at the company who would be her direct supervisor. is said to be the beginning of it all. It was a tough ordeal, but it was all worth it for Spina, as he was able to land a new position at a company he was excited to work for.

Spina started work on Aug. 1 and said she was “fully immersed” in the experience, taking on some of her supervisor’s responsibilities, shopping for the company and generally jumping headfirst into her new job. Told.

However, after a few days on the job, her boss asked if she could speak with the human resources department to make sure she fit in perfectly with the company. When she did so, Human Resources said they were still reviewing applications for the position, which she thought was ridiculous because Ms. Spina believed she had already been hired. .

The next day, while Spina was sitting in her hotel room waiting for news, she received another call from Human Resources. Hoping it’s all just a big misunderstanding. That wasn’t the case. Her company informed her that she would no longer work for the company. At that point Spina was sitting on the phone sobbing because she had just uprooted her life in order for her to have the opportunity to work for this company.

To make matters worse, Spina is ghosted by her boss. Still, she was determined that she wasn’t going to sit around and not receive some form of compensation for the money she spent moving all the way from Florida to Virginia. This includes moving trucks, storage units, gas, and other moving-related expenses. In her letter to human resources, she added that she intended to take “legal action” against the company if she did not receive compensation, and said she had had multiple communications with her supervisor to support her claims. Stated.
