“You’re forgetting the guard dogs and the sniper tower with the spotlight,” a third voice exploded.

The tutorial begins fairly innocuously by advising passengers to close their doors and turn on their lights.

“Don’t forget the salt ring to protect you from supernatural beings. No surprise attacks,” someone else recommended.

“A balcony?? Are the pirates preparing to wrestle there or something?” one person wondered.

“Is the cruise going to Detroit??” another mused.

The newspaper has contacted Victoria for comment.

Victoria did not say how much additional items such as door stop alarms would cost.

She recommends taking the following steps when spending the night on a boat.

  • Close the door and turn on the light.
  • Use a portable door lock to lock the door.
  • Press the “Do Not Disturb” button.
  • Close the peephole.
  • Please install a door alarm.
  • Connect the door handle and deadbolt or door hinge with a hanger for added safety.
  • Roll up a medium-sized towel and place it behind the handle to block it.
  • Place heavy furniture against the door.
  • Place your wireless security camera in an inconspicuous location.
  • Look around from the balcony and check for any unusual changes.
