This short video by creator @viviandluong has been viewed over 102,000 times in just 5 hours. At first, it might have been taken as a Waymo commercial for her, as she is completely relaxed in the back seat of the car heading to her destination.

“I feel 100 percent safe,” she revealed. “Because there’s no weird Uber driver trying to woo me in the car at 2 a.m., and I can play whatever music I want.”
The caption accompanying the video reinforces the message: “As a woman…driverless cars always win (and it doesn’t smell like a can of money bouncing).”

One commenter’s concern was, “What happens if a car crashes?”

Another man heard complaints about male rideshare drivers: “getting into traffic accidents > driving with strange men.”
“It’s very sad, but most women would probably agree with this,” another agreed.
