The first British coronation in 71 years is the first time Prince Harry has met his father King Charles face-to-face since his searing memoir, Spare, was published.
While Meghan Markle is home for son Archie’s 4th birthday, Harry may get snubbed by the royal family.
He reportedly won’t be included in the official procession or the legendary balcony shot at Buckingham Palace.
‘Extra’ Billy Bush talks with Charlie Rankston of DailyMail.com about all things coronation.
As for why Harry doesn’t show up on the balcony, Charlie explained that it’s because he’s “no longer part of the royal family.”
Aside from Duchess Meghan not attending, there will be another notable absence… Sarah Ferguson.
According to DailyMail.com, Prince Charles didn’t invite his brother Prince Andrew’s ex-girlfriend.
Last month, Billy chatted with Sarah before the invitations were sent out.
When asked if she would attend, she replied,
she joked.
The coronation includes performances from Lionel Richie, Bette Midler and Take That.
It’s a historic event for King Charles, but he’s scaled back the celebrations because of the economy. Charlie commented: He knows that the image of the royal family as wealthy does nothing for his reputation. ”
