What’s wrong with today’s youth?
In previous generations, rebellious youth were always the subject of alarm for old people. They drive too fast and talk too loud. They wear weird clothes and have no respect for their teachers.
But something has changed in the last few years, so the older generation has much more to worry about than before.
A recent Morning Consult poll found that only 16% of Gen Zers are proud to live in the United States. Millennials said he was slightly insane at 36%.
These numbers should ring alarm bells. Over the past decade, national pride has plummeted. Not an accident. This is a deliberate attempt by the left to destroy American patriotism and replace it with their ideology. In 2013, 85% of Americans said they were “very or very” proud to be American. Today that number is he at 63%. It was only in 2016 that the number dropped below 80%, and at times it was as high as 80% to 90%. it’s a collapse.

This is not an accident. The indoctrination taking place in our school has resulted in this kind of opinion among young people.
The numbers show a complete lack of knowledge about the rest of the world. The children of America go to school to learn that the freest country in the history of mankind, the country that has set an example of democracy and freedom and shed a light of hope on people all over the world, is… I mean, it’s not.
The kind of privilege it takes to hold that opinion is mind-boggling. It means that you were taught to believe that They don’t know that people around the world are still struggling to be free, or how desperate people are to be Americans. Haters were taught to take for granted their birthright of liberty and liberty.
In recent years, the Left has successfully taken over public school curricula across the country. They promote the idea that America is not that great. They force the 1619 project into the curriculum. They remove any discussion of the Founding Fathers or American history in general. All education is geared towards the idea that America is a terrible place.
Apart from being wrong, it is very short-sighted. Those who promote this idea consider themselves worldly. But worldliness includes knowing something about other nations and not being short-sighted about your own. These are people who were born at third base and think they hit a triple.

At bottom, Americans are very patriotic people. Yes, even young people. But they got to the point where they weren’t allowed to admit it. Millennials and Gen Z were the first to grow up in a “cancellation culture” and were forced into alignment by it. It is simply unacceptable to say that America is not only great, but the greatest, parting from the flock and the teachers. Wrong thoughts can lead to bad grades and harassment from peers. It takes a certain amount of courage for young people to overcome what is happening to them. And we need to stand up for the ideas we know to be true but have long been told they aren’t.

More than that, the older generation needs to do more than just flicker these kinds of numbers. They must educate young people in their homes and lives about the miracles that are America’s experiments. Miracles must be maintained and require continued effort to ensure their success. Canceling the culture, the Left’s push for conformity will ultimately be destroyed. The older generation must join the fight, and the young cannot give up to make it happen.
