Enchanting valleys, bustling street markets and magical forests.

These are just some of the things Disney Cruise fans can look forward to on upcoming cruises. Disney AdventureThat’s according to details released by Disney Cruise Line on Tuesday.

The ship will be Disney’s sixth cruise ship and the company’s first to homeport in Asia, with its maiden voyage scheduled to depart from Singapore in 2025.

According to a press release, the Disney Adventure will operate three- to four-night voyages and accommodate approximately 6,700 passengers and 2,500 crew members, with all voyages departing from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre.

Disney Adventure is designed around seven themed areas inspired by Disney, Pixar and Marvel films.

  • Imagination Garden: Described as the heart and entrance of the ship, this garden features an “enchanted valley,” gardens, and an outdoor performance venue.
  • Discovery Reef: A place where you can enjoy shopping and dining while enjoying the characters and stories of Disney’s ocean-based movies, such as “The Little Mermaid” and “Finding Nemo.”
  • San Fransokyo Street: a street market-style family entertainment area with interactive games, shops and a cinema

  • Wayfinder Bay: A Pacific Island-inspired poolside hideaway that reflects the colors and look of “Moana.”
  • Town centre: A place where Disney fans gather, with shops and restaurants lined up in a forest reminiscent of “Tangled,” “Cinderella,” “Frozen,” and “Snow White.”
  • Marvel Landing: a brand new attraction designed for fans of Avengers superheroes
  • Toy Story Locations: A playland with themed dining venues and a water play area inspired by Pixar’s “Toy Story” series

According to a press release, the cabin will have subtle Disney touches and feature the cruise line’s split bathroom concept, allowing two people to get ready at the same time.

Like all Disney cruises, Disney Adventure features character appearances, sing-along entertainment and screenings of some of Disney’s most popular films.

According to a press release, Disney Adventure is billed as the “ultimate vacation at sea” for families, featuring a spa, fitness area and “premium dining” for parents and aimed at cruise passengers of all ages.

In addition, the design will have an Asian feel to it, as this is the company’s first cruise ship based in Asia.

“By blending Disney’s signature service with curated experiences unique to Asia, our guests can expect magic at sea through personalized hospitality, cuisine from around the world and abundant retail options with distinctive local flavor,” said Sarah Fox, regional vice president and general manager, Asia, Disney Cruise Line.

The Disney Adventure will join Disney Cruise Line’s fleet of five ships, with two others also joining. According to the release, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny are expected to be available soon.

Disney Cruises sail to the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand.

According to a press release on Tuesday, Singapore’s “strategic location, world-class air connectivity and port infrastructure have made it a vibrant cruise hub in Southeast Asia.”

According to an agreement between Disney Cruise Line and the Singapore Tourism Board, the cruises will operate for at least five years.

The ship’s first sailing date and voyage prices have not been announced.
