Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock to reunite for ‘Practical Magic’ sequel!
She shared the happy news while chatting with “Extra’s” Terri Seymour, along with her “Family Affair” co-stars Zac Efron and Joey King.
Nicole smiled and admitted, “Sandy and I, yes. The Owens sisters are back.”
She explained, “We’d been considering it for a while, but we wanted to make sure we had a good story. Also, I love Sandy, so the idea of working with her again…we both said, ‘Oh, we’re still here, we’re still working, we’re still very passionate about life,’ and so to bring that into what we’re doing now is just so much fun.”
Zach smiled and said, “That’s beautiful.”
“We want to have fun,” Nicole added.
Kidman also gave an update on her other big project, season 3 of Big Little Lies.
Nicole revealed, “The script is being written. We haven’t started production yet because Reese is doing ‘The Morning Show,’ but yeah, it’s in the works.”
“We need more of that,” Efron noted, while Joey added, “We need more Nicole Kidman.”
“No, no, it was always planned for us to have a third child,” Nicole said.
“It feels like the story isn’t over yet,” Zach noted.
“It told three stories, but there was a reason we had to wait,” Nicole said.
As for whether there will be roles for either Zach or Joey on “Big Little Lies,” Joey laughed and said, “Don’t pressure her… I’ll call you later and pressure her.”
“We’re going to record ourselves and submit it,” Zach joked.
Nicole continued, “Yeah, but there was always meant to be this gap there. When people see it, they’ll understand why.”
Nicole wouldn’t reveal who the guest stars would be, joking, “You’ll have to ask Reese.”
She also said she was excited for one of the Kidman daughters to appear in the next season.
“My daughter really instigated a lot of this,” Nicole said. “I was like, ‘Oh, you’re [it]That was the impetus we needed.”
When Terry said that she was grateful for all the encouraging words, Nicole retorted that it was actually “demanding.” She added, “I gotta make my daughter happy!”
