Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota, broke down in tears Friday as she lashed out at President Biden and Democratic leadership over their support for Israel during its war with Hamas.
Her angry comments came during a press conference outside the U.S. Capitol with several members of the far-left “Squad” calling for a ceasefire in the war.
“We have a president who is talking about freeing hostages, talking about getting American citizens out of Israel, and yet can’t say for himself that he wants to save and work to save hundreds and thousands of Americans who are stranded. “Why are you here?” I’m in Gaza. what happened? ” he said after Omar claimed that Israel has dropped more bombs in Gaza in the past 10 days than the United States has dropped in Afghanistan in a year.
