Hello fellow nuts fans. 43 games to go until the 2023 campaign (they’re playing their 44th as of this writing), and a 2021 deadline kicking off the Nationals’ organizational reboot/reset/whatever. We have a sale anniversary coming up. So we decided to check out and assess what you guys think about the progress his Washington Front Office GM Mike Rizzo has made over the last few years.
The Nationals, led by Davey Martinez, are playing competitive baseball most nights, but they’re falling short, but they’re showing some signs of progress. you?
Starters Josiah Gray and Mackenzie Gore are both showing signs of improvement, with the club’s young core players Luis Garcia, CJ Abrams, Keibert Lewis and Victor Robles (before landing at IL). It’s fun to watch it continue to grow. There’s been a lot of focus on the depth of potential they’ve built up in the years since they started Reboot, Rebuild, Reset, or whatever it’s called now, but there’s already some talent One player has performed and clearly continues to learn at the big league League level, so it’s not always pretty, but if you squint well, the plan that front office Lizzo and the team have is coming together. You can see that
And I am very happy when the plan comes together. So what do you think? Here’s a totally unscientific survey to gauge your thoughts…
