Former New York State Representative Lee Zeldin was selected as a participant. President-elect Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Management as Administrator.
President Trump confirmed the news in a statement Monday afternoon, writing in part:
“Mr. Lee has a very strong legal background and is a true fighter for America First policies. “It will ensure the highest environmental standards, including the cleanest air and water on earth, and set new standards for environmental review and maintenance that will ensure the health of the United States.” will allow it to grow in a well-structured manner. ”
President Trump said Zeldin handled some “very difficult and complex situations” “excellently.” He said he was confident Zeldin “will quickly prove to be a great contributor.”

The New York Post first reported that Trump had nominated Zeldin to lead the Environmental Protection Agency.
