President-elect Trump announced Sunday night that Alina Haba will join the White House team as an advisor to the president.
“Arena is a tireless champion of justice, a passionate defender of the rule of law, and a valued advisor to my campaign and transition team,” President Trump said in a post on Truth Social. Ta. “She was unwavering in her loyalty, unparalleled in her determination, and stood by me through numerous ‘trials,’ battles, and countless days in court.”
The president-elect noted that not many people understand the weaponization of a system of “injustice” like Haba.
“As a first-generation Middle Eastern American, she is a role model for women in law and politics, and was recently named Chaldean Woman of the Year,” President Trump continued. “Congratulations to Alina, her husband Greg, and their three beautiful children, Chloe, Luke, and Parker.”

“It has been the honor of my life to serve the 45th and 47th presidents of the American people,” Haba responded on X.
At the same time as Haba’s appointment, President Trump announced that he would nominate Christopher Landau as deputy secretary of state to work with his nominee for secretary of state, Marco Rubio.
President Trump said the two countries will jointly advance the nation’s security and prosperity through an America-first foreign policy.

“Chris served as my ambassador to Mexico and worked tirelessly with our team to reduce illegal immigration to record low levels,” President Trump said. “He was also one of our nation’s great lawyers, clerking for Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas on the U.S. Supreme Court.”
In a separate post, Trump wrote that Michael Needham, who worked alongside Rubio for many years, will become a State Department counselor.

Trump added in a separate post that Michael Anton will serve as director of policy planning at the State Department.
“Michael served me faithfully and effectively on the National Security Council during my first term. He has an extensive background in government, the private sector, and academia,” he wrote. “He has spent the last eight years explaining what an America First foreign policy truly means.”

Finally, President Trump congratulated Wisconsin Republican Party Chairman Brian Shimming on his re-election victory in a series of posts on Truth Social.
