Tony Todd, star of the Candyman series, has died at the age of 69.
His wife Fatima said: THR He died of natural causes at his home in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
Born on December 4, 1954 in Washington, DC, he began his career as a film actor with roles in Platoon and Sleepwalk (both 1986).
His first big impression was in the classic horror remake Night of the Living Dead (1990), and he also starred in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1990-1991) and Star Trek: The Next Generation (1990-91). He provided the voice of Khan in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. (1996).
But Todd is known for his work on Candyman (1992), Candyman: A Farewell to the Flesh (1995), Candyman: Day of the Dead (1999), and 2021’s Candyman. He was best known as a star.

Among his many other credits, he appeared in ‘The Crow’ (1994), ‘The Rock’ (1996). He played William Bloodworth in “Final Destination” (2000), “Final Destination 2” (2003) and “Final Destination 5” (2011).
Todd is survived by his wife and two children.
