The name Telo comes from the Greek word “telos,” meaning purpose, and sums up the company’s mission: Based in the tech-savvy San Francisco Bay Area, Telo isn’t out to build the biggest truck on the market. Instead, it’s out to create a refreshingly compact concept that redefines what a pickup truck can be in an electrified world.

Mini Truck 1 (MT1)
Telo’s first product, internally called the Mini Truck 1, or MT1, challenges the status quo. The Telo Truck is about the length of a two-door Mini Hardtop and boasts interior and cargo capacity on par with a current Toyota Tacoma. It can weigh 4,400 pounds and reach a top speed of 125 mph.
Telo’s innovative design also extends into the 60-inch truck bed, where a configurable mid-section divider allows the bed to stretch to fit a 4-by-8 sheet of plywood or transform into additional seating for up to eight passengers.

How safe are Telo trucks?
For Telo, safety is not an afterthought. Despite its compact size, Telo does not sacrifice safety. The truck features an 18-inch mechanical crumple zone. It also employs cutting-edge technology and is equipped with an array of cameras and sensors that predict and classify collisions, ensuring that not only its occupants but also pedestrians and other road users are protected.

Power and efficiency are at the core of Telo
At the heart of every Telo truck is a dual-motor power train that delivers 500 horsepower and 301 pound-feet of torque. Paired with a 106 kWh battery pack, the Telo gives the truck a driving range of over 300 miles and fast-charging capability.

Future outlook for terrorism
Telo is charting a path towards production, focusing initially on in-house manufacturing and then moving to contract manufacturing for larger series production.
