In the video, Cannon sits in a booth at Texas Roadhouse in uniform, speaking to the camera.

She explained that the “sidekick” shrimp that Texas Roadhouse waiters ask if they want to add to their meal contains five shrimp.

“But if you think that’s too much and just want two, $3.99 will get you three shrimp,” says Cannon.

The smaller shrimp pieces, called “smothers,” are $4 less than the $7.99 sidekick option. Cannon says customers can put the smothered shrimp on top or on the side of his steak in multiples of three.

This isn’t the first time Cannon has shared a Texas Roadhouse “lifehack” on her TikTok account. She used to eat chili cheese dogs and pulled pork cactus flower.

In other recent Texas Roadhouse news, one TikTok creator said her take on the viral “Girls’ Dinner” trend showed a box full of steakhouse rolls, while another , shared how the restaurant fed a family of three for just $40.

The Daily Dot reached out to Canon via direct message on Instagram for more information and to Texas Roadhouse via email.
