2016 Season 11 “The Voice” winner Sundance Head is recovering well after accidentally shooting himself.
people Head, 46, shot himself in the abdomen on Friday while hunting alone on his Texas ranch, the magazine said.
He was airlifted to the hospital, but TMZ Confirmed.
His wife posted on Facebook: “Considering the past few hours, he is doing well.” Now the children are with him too. Prayers were answered and there were no internal injuries from the bullet. Thank you for your prayers. ”
“It wasn’t his hunting rifle and no one shot him,” she offered. “He got out of the car and reached down to grab the .22, and when he grabbed it, the .22 came out of the holster and just hit the outside of the Jeep,” and left. Sundance said it happened so fast that he could see the bullet miss. ”
The bullet entered his belly button and lodged in his abdomen, but did not damage any vital organs. Head didn’t have a phone, so he was forced to flag down the car.
“We won’t remove the bullet, so you won’t need surgery,” she went to him. “I’m sure [the attending physician] I said why, but now my head is foggy. It was good to have him on the big side. The bullet is in his fatty tissue…thank you for all the prayers. ”
