This weekend marks the start of a new month. June is a month of events that includes Pride, Juneteenth, the Summer Solstice, the T20 Cricket World Cup, the Coney Island Mermaid Parade, the Puerto Rican Day Parade, and more. (I’m especially excited for National Hug Your Cat Day on June 4th.)

Major subway service changes

Train, Brooklyn

Due to track maintenance, trains will not run between Franklin Avenue-Medgar Evers College and Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College in either direction from 11:30pm Friday until 5am Monday.

  • Service between Franklin Avenue – Medgar Evers College and Flatbush Avenue – Brooklyn College is free. B96 The shuttle bus is Stops and additional stops on Nostrand Av .
  • The train runs between the Bronx and Franklin Avenue Medgar Evers College. Crown Heights-Utica Avenue.

Train, Brooklyn and Manhattan

Due to track maintenance, there will be no trains running in either direction between Chambers St and New Lots Av all day Saturday and Sunday.

  • Services between Chambers Street and Nevins Street include: .
  • Service between Nevins Street and Crown Heights-Utica Street is train.
    • Throughout the weekend, The train is running Crown Heights-Utica Avenue and Trains will stop at stations between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Crown Heights-Utica Av.
  • Service between Crown Heights Utica Avenue and New Lot Street is which will run all weekend to New Lot Avenue.
  • The train runs between 148th Street and Chambers Street in Harlem. Rector Street

Train, Brooklyn

Due to signal modernization work, trains will not run between Church Avenue and Coney Island-Stilwell Avenue in either direction from 12:15 a.m. Saturday through 5 a.m. Monday.

  • Service between Church Avenue and Coney Island-Stilwell Avenue is free. B90 The shuttle bus is Stop.
    • If you exit the subway at Church Av or Coney Island-Stillwell Av, you will need to obtain a GO ticket from a station attendant to re-enter.
  • If you are travelling directly between Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn and Coney Island, ​​​ train.

Due to access improvement works, trains will not run in either direction between 8 Av and Myrtle-Wyckoff Av from 11.15pm Friday to 5am Monday.

  • For services in Manhattan, free of charge L92 Shuttle bus or M14A-SBSall Stopping between 8 Av and 1 Av, Trains will operate on Delancey St-Essex St.
  • For service between Bedford Av and Myrtle-Wyckoff Av, a free shuttle bus operates on two routes.

Uptown and local Due to structural maintenance, trains will make express stops between Chambers Street and 34th Street Penn Station from 9:45pm Friday until 5am Monday.

  • For service to and from the Bypass station, please use local trains within the city.

Downtown Due to track maintenance, trains will not stop between 145th and 96th Streets from 9:45pm Friday to 5am Monday.

  • For service to and from the Bypass station, take the Uptown-bound train.

Downtown and Due to structural maintenance, local trains will not stop between 96th and 72nd Streets from 9:45 a.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday.

  • For service to and from the Bypass station, please use uptown local trains.
  • During the day and at night, Trains run every 8 minutes. Trains run every 12 minutes. In Manhattan, trains share tracks.

Train, Bronx

To Manhattan Due to structural maintenance, trains will not stop between E 180 St and 3 Av-149 St from 3:45 AM Saturday to 10 PM Sunday.

  • For service to and from the Bypass Station, take 241 St. Or to Daire Abu train.

Train, Manhattan

Uptown and Due to structural maintenance, local trains will make express stops at Grand Central Terminal between 42nd Street and 125th Street from 9:45 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday.

  • For service to and from the Bypass station, please use local trains within the city.
  • During the day and at night, Trains run every 20 minutes. Trains run every 8 minutes. In Manhattan, trains share tracks.

Train, Bronx

To Pelham Bay Park Due to track replacement, trains will not stop between Hunts Point Avenue and Parkchester from 3:45am Saturday until 10pm Sunday.

  • For service to and from the Bypass station, take a Manhattan-bound train.
  • During the day and at night, Trains in the Bronx run every 16 minutes. The replacement train to the Bronx terminates at 3 Av-138 St. To continue your trip, transfer to a train to Pelham Bay Park.

Train, Manhattan

Friday 9:45pm to Monday 5am, Downtown and local Trains run on express tracks from 59th Street Columbus Circle to Canal Street and downtown. Trains are running on the express line from 42 St/Port Authority Bus Terminal to Canal St due to electrical improvement work.

  • For service to and from the Bypass station, take the Uptown-bound train.

Train, Bronx, Manhattan

Uptown Due to structural maintenance, trains will make express stops between 145 St and Fordham Rd from 9:45pm Friday until 5am Monday.

  • For service to and from the Bypass station, take the train downtown.

Train, Queens

Friday 11:45pm to Monday 5am Manhattan and local Trains will not stop between Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue and Queens Plaza and the Manhattan-bound local tracks. Trains will not stop between Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av and 21 St-Queensbridge due to track maintenance.

  • For service to and from the Bypass Station, please use the Forest Hills bound Or local to Jamaica train.

Long Island Railroad

All branches

Due to the switch installation, most LIRR trains will operate on a modified schedule from 9:30pm Friday to 4am Monday.

  • Ronkonkoma Branch trains run hourly, and all daytime Ronkonkoma Branch trains run to Pennsylvania Station.
    • Transfer at Jamaica and head to Grand Central.
  • Eastbound Port Jefferson and Ronkonkoma Branch trains will not stop at Elmont UBS Arena.
    • To travel to and from this station, please use the Hempstead Branch train.
  • Daytime trains on the Ronkonkoma Branch will stop at Westbury on Saturday for participants in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Metro-North Railroad service changes

Port Jervis Line

Due to track work and bridge maintenance, there will be no train service between Suffern and Port Jervis from 12:45 a.m. Saturday until 11:59 p.m. Sunday.

  • The bus will connect the Ramsey Route 17 station with all stops between Sloatsburg and Port Jervis.
  • If you would like service from Otisville and Salisbury Mills to Hoboken and New York, consider using the nearby Middletown or Harriman stations instead.
    • Otisville and Salisbury Mills are only served by local bus service on Ramsey Route 17 that does not connect to trains.
  • Trains are running on a modified schedule between Hoboken and Suffern with no express services.
