Strabo Dashboard

London-based fintech Strabo is launching the world’s first global personal finance dashboard this month. Inspired by the likes of Mint, Personal Capital and Yodlee, the founders are more focused on investing, eager to expand coverage to more countries and asset classes.

Describing the platform as a “Notion and Google Analytics hybrid” for personal finance, they promise to offer a deeper level of investment and wealth analysis on both previous spending and custom goals and retirement projections. Intended.

They have a particular affinity with London’s expat community and with the burgeoning FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) movement, which has grown significantly in popularity over the course of the pandemic on Reddit.

Travel-loving startups work by using open banking APIs to link multiple accounts from multiple countries in one place. They are migrating a waiting list of thousands of users to the full version of the platform available today.

The company is named after Strabo, a Greek geographer and historian who traveled and wrote extensively 2,000 years ago, and one of the creators of modern maps.

“Strabo started when Mike, an American professional living in London, could not find an answer to a simple question: ‘How much money do I have, wherever I am? ?” Work has taken Mike to many places, from America to Brazil, Holland to England. ”

“Mike, who worked at a cafe in Shoreditch, dug deep to find out. He opened every account one by one and started tracking them in Excel. We only had 80%!” Better way! he cried. ”

That’s where Strabo comes in. The company uses open banking APIs to connect users’ accounts in one dashboard. The idea is to “track all the money you own and owe” and “get an instant picture of your net worth.”

Its website mentions live bank feeds, credit cards, mortgages and loans. It also provides a way to track and forecast investments, pensions, debt and taxes with the foreign market in mind. These feed into account custom tagging, editable goals, and retirement predictions. They have signed up for the platform’s initial launch for a limited time. now!
