Snoop Dogg is all set for his Top 5 performance on ‘The Voice’ Season 26 on Monday night!
“Extra’s” Sadie Murray spoke with Snoop, who got support from his friend Martha Stewart during the live show.
Snoop said: “We’ve really grown to love each other on and off screen. That’s what family is about: supporting each other, showing up and doing the unexpected.” . . ”
“I love being there for her as much as she loves being there for me. This was a highlight moment for me and I loved being there for ‘The “This is the first season of ‘The Voice,’ so what better way to end it than with the Queen.”
Snoop Dogg has also shown support for his daughter Cori and her reality show, “Snoop Dogg’s Fatherhood: The Cori and Wayne Story.”
Cori spoke about her battle with systemic lupus erythematosus and depression on the show, and Snoop said, “She’s just so strong. She has my DNA in her, her strong spirit and her open, vulnerable heart.” I feel like she’s a version of my mom in that she’s able to show people beyond the third wall. I think that’s something I can relate to.
“She’s not trying to hide it, she’s living it and dealing with it. Not everyone is a star and not everyone can run away or hide from their problems, so a lot of people don’t know that. They have to deal with them every day. So for her to have her own TV show where she can express that and build a community of people to support her. I am very happy.”
The rapper also shared the most important advice he gives to artists and praised finalist Jeremy Beloare.
He commented: “I tell singers to sing with all their heart, with conviction, with passion, and the important thing is to feel it when you feel it. You project that emotion in order to feel it.”
Snoop called Jeremy “an extraordinary artist,” adding, “I think he’s going to do what he’s supposed to do tonight.”
