Well, now you can do it from the comfort of your own home thanks to new smartphone tricks from EE.
The tech giant has launched a new set of augmented reality (AR) tools called EE Mini Movie Makers.
With this tool, you can harness the power of AR to bring 3D superheroes, dinosaurs, and even spaceships into your home.

EE has unveiled new tools ahead of the 2023 EE BAFTA Film Awards in hopes of inspiring the next generation of performers and filmmakers.
Pete Jeavons, director of marketing communications at EE, said: ‘
Users can bring in characters and objects from four genres: Action, Fantasy, Jurassic, and Science Fiction.
Action characters include superheroes, villains, and flying cars, while fantasy categories include unicorns and fairies.
As the name suggests, Jurassic includes various dinosaurs, while sci-fi includes shooting stars, comets, and spaceships.
To try it yourself, just tap the following link on your smartphone. action, fantasy, Jurassic Also science fiction.
This will open a tool within the Instagram app that will ask you to drag two virtual footsteps onto the film foot star.
Once you’re satisfied with the placement, tap the screen and a pair of virtual curtains will close before the 3D character appears.

To celebrate the new tool’s release, EE is also hosting a contest for the most creative scenes.
The competition runs from January 31 to February 9 and features Lisa Prime, BAFTA’s Director of Children and Youth Programs, BAFTA-nominated Producer Hester Ruoff (Boiling Point), Art Director and Cut.・A panel of experts, including Lowe, will conduct the judging. EE’s tools aren’t the only option to bring fantastical beasts into your home using AR.
During lockdown, Google launched an AR animal feature. This allows him to view and interact with his 3D animals from the comfort of his own home.
Aparna Chennapragada, vice president of Google Lens and AR, explained in a post at launch:
“For example, it’s one thing to read that a great white shark can be 18 feet long. It’s another thing to see it up close in relation to what’s around you.
“So when you search for an animal of your choice, the knowledge panel will give you the option to view it in 3D and AR.”
