In a new episode of KardashianKim and her sister Chloe recall the old relationship and saw some of Kim’s engagement rings, but one was markedly missing.
After recalling the ring from Damon Thomas, her first husband who married from 2000 to 2004, she spoke about her infamous marriage to former NBA player Chris Humphreys, whom she married in August 2011.
When Chris remembered the question on camera, he gave Kim 16.5 carat emerald ring with 2 carat diamonds From Lorraine Schwartz. However, despite holding the other engagement rings, Kim reveals that she no longer has Chris’s. “I didn’t hold it,” she shared. “I was pregnant with North but I was still married to him. He told me I had to give him a ring in my divorce to divorce him.”
Kim returned the ring so that she could continue her life – and after being first purchased, Chris continued to sell it at auction for $749,000 $2 million. But to make things even wilder, Kim reveals that Chris didn’t pay for the ring completely in the first place.
According to Kim, Chris contributed the “fiveth” cost of the ring. This is still about $400,000 to fair, but Kim covered the rest. Looking back, Kim said that Lorraine Schwartz encouraged her that it was for the “best.” However, Kim still appears to be hanging a bit about the loss.
