Former President Trump’s decisive victory in this week’s New Hampshire primary has led to renewed support from members of Congress who have remained silent on the campaign.
One of the most notable focal points was House Freedom Caucus Chairman Bob Good (R-Va.), who was elected minutes after the favorite, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, withdrew from the race. supported Trump over the weekend.
As of Thursday afternoon, President Trump had more than 120 Republican supporters in the House, a majority of the House Republican conference and far more than one supporter of former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley.

Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith (R-Missouri), who are also leading the investigation, both support Mr. Trump.
Fox News Digital reached out to Comer’s office, but there was no immediate response.
Haley and Phillips were ahead in New Hampshire, but it’s still a Trump-Biden race.
Problem Solvers Caucus Co-Chair Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pennsylvania.
Fitzpatrick, a moderate lawmaker from a battleground state in Pennsylvania, has also not decided which side he will choose in the 2024 primary.
Fitzpatrick was one of the few Republicans who did not come to Trump’s defense when he was indicted in June over his handling of classified documents. The former FBI agent urged people to respect the legal process and not rush to judgment.
“No one is above the law or beyond prosecution,” he said. “No one should be subject to prosecution solely because of their status, position, or affiliation.”
Mr. Fitzpatrick’s campaign did not respond to requests for comment.

Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Washington;
McMorris Rodgers is seen as one of House Speaker Mike Johnson’s closest allies on Capitol Hill, but unlike the Louisiana Republican, she has not yet been involved in the 2024 presidential primary. Johnson endorsed Trump late last year.
She was named honorary state co-chair of Trump’s re-election campaign in December 2019, according to The Spokesman-Review.
She made it clear that there was some distance between the two sides after the 2021 Capitol riot, saying in August 2023 that President Trump’s efforts to overturn his 2020 defeat were “un-American.” ” he is said to have told voters.
