“For context, we lived in a very haunted house and collected strange things (including lots of antique Ouija boards). My daughter was having a ‘princess’ party for her 9th birthday and , I said I wanted to play Ouija. When the party was coming to an end, her husband and I started off normally, but then the Ouija became active and she asked if we wanted to play “hide and seek.” Of course it is. Other than what the board had asked me to look for, there were things I didn’t know were in the house…a black bead at the bottom of a lamp…a doll whose hat had fallen askew. ..Also, by the 4th or his 5th “seek” the planchette was flying around the board so fast that I could barely keep track of the words. ”
“So I told the girls it was time to call it quits. ‘No! No! We’re having fun,’ they laughed. And the next words spelled out were, ‘No! No! We’re having fun.’ If I quit, I’m going to die.” So I was like, “No, the board is going to disappear.” Well, the board went crazy and spelled out “I’m going to hurt you” over and over again until I reached in and pulled the planchette from the board and snapped it shut. We never played with the Ouija board in that house again. ”
