Passengers stranded on the Silver Bullet roller coaster at Knott’s Berry Farm May 26, 2023 (Citizens)
On Friday night, a roller coaster at Knott’s Berry Farm stalled, leaving a group of passengers stranded.
A citizen video captured riders dangling their legs as they ascended the Silver Bullet coaster’s high lift hill towards the first drop.
Park officials responded to the scene, and trapped guests were seen climbing towards them while still strapped to their seats.
The Silver Bullet is an upside-down suspension coaster that opened in 2004 and has been one of the park’s flagship attractions ever since.
All riders are secured with over-the-shoulder restraints as the coaster features many thrilling elements such as corkscrews, cobra rolls, zero gravity rolls and vertical loops.
The video showed guests watching as park officials made their way to the coaster train. It is unknown what caused the vehicle to stall in the first place.
No injuries have been reported so far.
