The protesters were arrested Friday night in New York City in front of Sen. Chuck Schumer’s apartment in Denisey, Fox News Digital confirmed.
The arrest occurred during a pro-Palestinian protest outside the senator’s apartment. Schumer is scheduled to visit Israel this weekend as part of his bipartisan CODEL visit.
A police spokesperson declined to say how many people had been arrested.
The protests came in the wake of numerous pro-Palestinian demonstrations across the city.

Schumer had a Shabbat dinner with his family before leaving for Israel, according to a post on X from Schumer’s office.
At least two men were arrested after a fight during a separate protest Friday afternoon.
