“Progressives” cannot tolerate disagreements, especially when it comes to LGBTQ ideology. Expressing solidarity with “Gay Pride” is not optional. Athletes who refuse to participate in solidarity should be punished, and teams who do not punish them should be fined.
Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov recently outraged sports journalists when he refused to wear a rainbow jersey to warm up for “Pride Night,” citing his Russian Orthodox faith. I respect everyone and I respect everyone’s choice.My choice is to stay true to myself and my religion.”
