“Progressives” cannot tolerate disagreements, especially when it comes to LGBTQ ideology. Expressing solidarity with “Gay Pride” is not optional. Athletes who refuse to participate in solidarity should be punished, and teams who do not punish them should be fined.

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov recently outraged sports journalists when he refused to wear a rainbow jersey to warm up for “Pride Night,” citing his Russian Orthodox faith. I respect everyone and I respect everyone’s choice. My choice is to stay true to myself and my religion.”

On the NHL Network, analyst EJ Hladek blasted Provorov, who moved to Pennsylvania from Russia when he was 13, saying he should return to Russia and fight in Ukraine. “Ivan Provorov says you can take a flight any day you want, go back to a place where you’re more comfortable, save money, and start your life over that way.” There is always an opportunity to move back to a place where you feel more comfortable.I understand there is some kind of conflict going on over there.Maybe get involved.”

The Flyers didn’t punish Provorov, but provided the usual corporate rhetoric to support LGBTQ “pride.”

“The Flyers had to respond by not allowing him to be in the game,” tweeted NHL announcer Gord Miller on Canadian network TSN. “Freedom of expression does not give you freedom from the consequences of your words and actions.” Punishment is essential for the Left.

“He’s a disgraceful human being and homophobia will become more disgraceful in the years to come,” declared Adam Protow of Hockey News. Comparing it to Judaism, “I will go on. All the great people on the right side of history should do the same. Intimidate.”

Journalists should be aware that sometimes religious people are trying to put themselves on the right side of God rather than on the so-called “right side of history.”

The gold medal for Christian intolerance at the competition went to Canadian “Breakfast TV” commentator Sid Seycheiro, and for allowing Provorov to skip wearing the jersey, the NHL awarded the Flyers 100. fined $10,000. “I’m not kidding!” he emphasized.

He added that religious people are usually hypocrites who lead disgusting lives. Nothing scares me,” he said. “Because when you look at the lives of people who normally say that publicly, what you see makes you nauseous. What you see makes you nauseous! I’ve seen it a million times in different ways.” Don’t give it to me…don’t give me a line of religious belief.”

In other words, Seixeiro does not tolerate the excuse of religious belief because he believes religion is a bunk. Is it?” I ask. The left believes that the two sides of a political view are equally valid and should never be tolerated. It must be something that must not be.

Here in America, we have religious freedom, even if sports journalists stop believing in it. Here in America, people still watch sports for action, not for political concerns. Here in the United States, I can’t imagine why anyone would want to live with the suffocating censorship that is on the rise in Canada. Let freedom ring.
