The new product mixes organic coconut with a slightly sweet white chocolate and wraps it in an organic dark chocolate shell of 85% cocoa. Offering a less bitter flavor thanks to sustainably sourced cocoa beans, Dark His Chocolate Coconut Chips are reduced in sugar with no artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols. Each cup contains 80 calories and 3 grams of sugar.The new product is also organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, keto certified, and kosher.

Climax Foods Co., Ltd.announced Climax Blue, the first product in its line of specialty cheese alternatives.

Developed with the help of predictive analytics and AI, Climax cheese offers the same protein content as dairy cheese, but with healthier fats. They’re made with clean, sustainable, non-GMO ingredients, but no fillers, gums, artificial colors or preservatives. Climax Blue is a good source of protein, providing 5 grams per serving.

Climax Blue will be available in grocery and specialty stores later this year after being tasted by U.S. foodservice operators in April. Natural Products Expo West attendees can sample products at booth #N1013.

The Spare Food Co.: Spare Tonic

The Spare Food Co. Recently, a new passion fruit & yuzu flavor was added to their line of climate-friendly probiotic sparkling tonics called Spear Tonic.

The brand’s functional beverage line uses upcycled whey from Greek-style yogurt manufacturing, mixed with fruit, spices and a touch of honey to complete the drink. , contains vitamin B.

The new Passion Fruit & Yuzu flavor is the fifth in the Spare Tonic line and will debut at Natural Products Expo West (booth #5194). It will then roll out regionally at the end of March.

Powered by Plants: Non-Alcoholic Hemp Infused Spirits

power of plants announced the launch of the first known non-alcoholic hemp-infused spirits in the United States. Their line of bottled botanical spirits includes tequila, rum and gin.

Spirits do not contain alcohol or sugar. Gin CBD and Rum CBD have zero sugar and calories, while Tequila CBD has just 2 grams of sugar.

The new product is available on the brand’s website and may soon be rolled out to beverage distributors and bars in Texas.

Vitaminwater: New Zero Sugar Flavor

vitamin water is adding “With Love” and “Forever” flavors to its line of fortified, sugar-free beverages. The brand is also recalibrating all six zero-sugar flavors with a new sweetener formula that includes monk fruit and stevia.

“with love” is raspberry and dark chocolate flavored and contains 85 mg of magnesium. “Forever You” is tropical coconut lime flavored and contains 18mg of white curcumin. Both new beverages provide vitamins A, C and E and are excellent sources of vitamins B3, B5, B6 and B12.

The new product is on sale nationwide.

Nestlé: Natural Bliss Oat Milk

Nestle announces several new products at Natural Products Expo West. These include Natural Bliss Oat Milk, the first milk substitute on the market made with a blend of oats and broad beans.

The new product claims to offer twice as much protein (5 grams per serving) as leading oat milk brands and 90% less sugar than cow’s milk. Milk substitutes will roll out to grocery stores in May.

Hershey Company We are releasing two new plant-based products: Reese’s Plant Based Peanut Butter Cups and Hershey’s Plant Based Extra Creamy with Almonds and Sea Salt. A new product offering an alternative to milk chocolate is made with oat chocolate.

Both plant-based products will be available in retail stores nationwide this spring.
