The allocation will also be used to upgrade the LAN infrastructure of 1,528 institutions under the Ministry of Environment.

In Budget 2025, the government allocated RM12.3 billion for Mindef’s security sector, split between defense (RM8.2 billion) and internal security (RM4.1 billion).
