Matty Healy has accepted reports that his past relationship with Taylor Swift inspired new songs for The 1975’s upcoming album.
On Sunday, Healy did the following. reddit Reacting to a screenshot of an article in The Sun about the song “God Has Entered My Body” rumored to be about Swift, it includes lines like “Head up princess/The tiara is falling.” Contains lyrics.
The publication also quoted a record label official as saying that the 1975 frontman “never comments publicly on his relationships, but he does intend to express himself through his music.”
“Huge if true,” Ms Healy wrote on Reddit.
Matty neither confirmed nor denied the track’s validity, but he used those exact words in his 2021 caption.
Alongside a photo of herself wearing a balaclava in the studio, she wrote, “Keep your head up, princess, the tiara is going to fall 
.”
A few months ago, Matti considered writing a song inspired by the romance in “.doomscroll“If I made a record, I don’t know, of all the things that have been said about me or about my casual romantic relationships, that would just be lying. Whatever it was that I became known for in some way.”
Without mentioning Taylor by name, he added: “I think a lot of artists are becoming very interested in their own legends, or interested in things that happened outside of their art that people know about, and they want to work on that. I think so. And fair enough.”
Matty wasn’t interested in drawing from his past and said: I’m just not interested. The idea of making a record about something that happened to me personally, by the time I release it it’ll be like two years old, and there are other people doing the same thing, but it’s not fun. ”
In 2023, Taylor and Matti dated for two months after breaking up with Joe Alwyn.
In addition to being spotted at the record label, Healy also attended six stops on Taylor’s Elas tour.

Their brief relationship was featured in The Tortured Poets Department, including “Fortnite,” “Fresh Out the Slammer,” “Sin as a Crime,” and “The Smallest Man in History.” It seems to have inspired some of her songs.
After the release of her album, TMZ’s Photogs interviewed Healy about a rumored diss track.
He replied, “I haven’t listened to it that much, but I’m sure it’s a good song.”
Taylor and Matty have both ended their relationships, and she is currently dating Travis Kelce, who is engaged to Gabrielette Bechtel.
