Who can forget Hajar’s infamous “I eat cake before I diet” comment and her inappropriate behavior towards restaurant staff? She was one of the most controversial performers on Netflix’s dating reality series, Love is Blind, Habibi. Now, the female suitor claims that what remained in the final edit is not the real thing.
During an appearance on the podcast Hikmat Wehbi, Hajar said: They didn’t show many other sides of me. My pod was so humorous that they didn’t show me that I was funny. What I said was not shown in the lounge. They only showed me my gaffes. Unfortunately, if you take a long article and only show the parts that are popular, everyone will attack you. ”
When talking about enduring bullying, the suitor added: “At first people attacked me hard. I got bullied a lot, but then after the reunion everyone talked about bullying and how unfair it was to us. Why this hypocrisy?”
She blamed the entire cast, including her ex-partner Simo, for not taking their stand, saying, “There was no one to support me other than Noor. Even if Simo did nothing. No one felt bad. Simo supported the others.” Another shocking revelation revealed by Hajjar was about Simo’s departure. What we know as viewers is that the reason Simo left without informing Hajar was because she did not take Hajar’s stand during the fight. But Hajar says: “That was simply not true. Mr. Simo’s resignation was not to exploit that information. I was not thrown off national television because he resigned.”
Hajjar insists that everyone knows the truth and would have been willing to reveal it had she not been bound by a contract. “He made demands on the production and was going to quit if they weren’t accepted. He didn’t understand that, so he walked away. So what happens next? There has to be a reason for it. But what was it? Hajar and her gaffe. Let’s paint the image like this. The reality was not as they presented it,” Hajar explained.
Hajar and Simo are not currently speaking.
