“And that’s my attitude. It’s tight,” she explained.


At the time, she was “suffering” with the changes and hormones that come with puberty, and “didn’t like the feeling of the changes,” she said.


Bowen added that while her sons are “not afraid” of body changes, her life was very different when she was younger.




When she was growing up she said Her body says, “I don’t have time for that.” So I think it was a coping mechanism. ”


Also, during her appearance, she recalled getting body-shamed months after giving birth to twins.

At the time, she was also trying to breastfeed after having John and Gustav nine months earlier.


“I was breastfeeding while working, and at the time my husband and I put on bikinis and jumped into the ocean. There were paparazzi like I was inside, like, ‘What’s wrong with her? People go around my belly and my boobs, [saying]”This is nasty.”


Bowen added: [the paparazzi] I didn’t know my body did something amazing..”
