The grandson of former President John F. Kennedy has denounced Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s 2024 White House candidacy, calling his candidacy a “shameful” and “vain scheme,” while backing President Joe Biden’s 2024 candidacy.
“President John F. Kennedy is my grandfather, and his legacy is important,” Jack Schlossberg, son of US Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy, said in a video. Posted on Instagram on Friday. “This is so much more than Camelot and conspiracy theories. It’s about public service and courage.”

The 30-year-old said Biden “shares my grandfather’s vision for America” and is “the greatest progressive president ever.”
“It’s about civil rights, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and the moon landing. Joe Biden shares my grandfather’s vision for America to do things not because they’re easy, but because they’re hard. And he’s on his way to becoming the greatest progressive president ever,” he continued.

Schlossberg touted Biden’s accomplishments, claiming that he ended the COVID-19 pandemic and put an end to former President Donald Trump.
“Thirteen million jobs have been added under the Biden administration. The unemployment rate is the lowest in 60 years. Biden has surpassed the largest investment in infrastructure since the New Deal and the largest investment in green energy in history,” Schlossberg said. “He appointed more federal judges than any president since my grandfather. He ended our longest war. He ended the coronavirus pandemic. He ended Donald Trump.”

The Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School graduate said Biden’s agenda was “an important issue.”
“And if my cousin Bobby Kennedy Jr. cared about them, he would also support Joe Biden,” Schlossberg said. “Instead, he uses Camelot, celebrity conspiracy theories and disputes for personal gain and prestige.”

RFK Jr.’s cousin continued to lash out at his family, saying he “has no idea” why anyone would think he should be president.
“I’ve heard him. I know him,” Schlossberg said. “I don’t understand why anyone would think he should be president.”

RFK’s cousin said his candidacy was a “disgrace” and a “vanity plan”.
