On Wednesday night, “Extra” spoke with Jessica Simpson, who won the Icon Award at the 2023 FN Achievement Awards.
She reflected on the meaning of this honor and said her goal has always been to make people look good and feel good. She said, “When you hear the word ‘icon,’ you feel like you were born to be that way, and I think anyone can become that. It really just becomes a driving force, and within that driving force, Be creative and do it your way, because you are the only one… I think the icon will always be yourself, but always evolving, always accepting and listening. . Jessica’s daughter Maxwell already wears a shoe size bigger than hers.
She said, “My oldest daughter is 11 and a size 10…so she outgrew me a long time ago…I keep all these shoes for her, but yeah, She’ll probably use it as a purse, you know her.” She’ll probably make them into great pieces or do some artwork together, but I have a birdie and She may have a smaller situation going on. Simpson also opened up about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and credits being a mother with motivating her to work hard.
