Jamie Lynn Spears reportedly pitched Britney Spears for a talk show while on lithium.
In her upcoming memoir, The Woman in Me, Britney reveals that shortly after returning home from a mental health facility, her brother wanted to host a “sister talk show” with her and tried to convince her to do so. He revealed that he did.
According to Us Weekly, Britney wrote that she was “nearly in a coma” when “chipper” Jamie Lynn made the proposal.
He added that Jamie Lynn often comes back from meetings about TV shows “loud and happy” and that “every time” she talked about “there was a new plan.”
Meanwhile, Britney’s former tour manager, 41, previously claimed that her conservator controlled “every aspect of her medical care.”
Dan George has revealed details about Britney’s conservatorship. The conservatorship was managed by her father, Jamie Spears, and Jodi Montgomery until it was dissolved in 2021.
Speaking on CNN’s special “TOXIC: Britney Spears’ Fight for Freedom,” he said: How long those sessions will be and all aspects of her medical care. ”
And during a court appearance in 2021, the ‘Toxic’ hitmaker appeared to confirm Dunn’s comments in which she claimed he was forced to wear an IUD.
She said: [IUD] Now I’m trying not to get pregnant. I wanted to take the [IUD] I went out to try to have another baby, but this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to get it out because they don’t want me to have a child. ”
Britney also accused the team of forcing her to take lithium in retaliation for a dispute over dance rehearsals for her Las Vegas tour.
She added: “[He] He said he had called me a million times about me not cooperating with rehearsals and not taking my medication. All these were false. The next day, out of nowhere, he put me on lithium and took me off the regular medication I had been on for 5 years. Lithium is very powerful and a completely different drug than I was used to.
“If you take too much or keep taking it for more than five months, it can cause mental disorders. But he put it on me and I felt like I was drunk… I couldn’t even really talk to them or my mom about anything. I told them I was scared.”
