Shein customers were shocked to receive replica Apple Watches after thinking they were just buying a new band.
In a viral video that has garnered over 1.1 million views and 81,500 likes, TikTok user Morgan (@morgan_s04) reviews the product and shares his thoughts about accidentally purchasing a counterfeit product.
The clip began with a video spliced together from previous unboxing videos.
“It’s from SHEIN, so don’t judge,” the woman said, holding up the watch, “And it came with a fake Apple Watch.”
Now onto her review, where she compares the two products side by side and was totally amazed at how similar they are.
“Well, what’s this?” she asked. “And look at this, it was $12 at Shein.”
The woman said she just wanted a pink band, but ended up buying two additional replica watches.
She was a little hesitant about the product.
“These are probably tracking me,” she said.
Morgan then scrolled through the replica’s features and compared them to those of the real Apple Watch.
“That looks like an Apple calculator,” she said, pointing to one of the replica apps. “Does it work?”
She claimed the watch was “faulty,” but ultimately decided there was no way anyone could tell it was her real watch.
Still, she was leery of replica products.
“I’m so confused. I’m so scared,” she said. “I feel like my only option is to burn it or smash it with a hammer.”

Some people in the comments section couldn’t believe the watch wasn’t real.
“I just watched the SHEIN Apple Watch video… I think someone dropped the real watch because the video doesn’t look like an Apple Watch,” one viewer wrote.
However, one viewer claimed that although they bought a replica, it actually worked just as well as the branded product.
“I have a similar one on Amazon and it works just like the Apple Watch – calls and texts from the watch,” commented user Unbreakable859.
“Honestly this shows how little money goes into making the Apple Watch… the markup they’re using is insane,” another viewer added.
A few years ago, Daily Dot reviewed Apple Watch knockoffs and concluded that they weren’t as good as the original. Still, things have changed a lot since then, and many knockoffs have become more sophisticated.
