The UFC middleweight belt returns to longtime champion Israel Adesanya after defeating longtime rival Alex Pereira. Many ordinary fans would believe that this would make Adesanya the best middleweight in the world. not so soon A true star was born at Bellator, training with American Top Team under the name Johnny Eblen. Eblen has been a low profile within the organization for the past few years, but after his victory in Los Angeles, America’s Top Team middleweight is finally getting the recognition he deserves. Eblen went 13-0, and with a name like “Human Cheat Code,” it was clear that he was a heavyweight in the MMA world. He has sharp hands and an excellent ground game to match. He’s my number one pound-for-pound in Bellator, but according to the official rankings, he’s officially in the top five.
Eblen is just doing amazing things to watch. He makes the department look immature and I think that’s why people don’t talk about it more than they should. Evren is most likely to pick up the winners of Fabian Edwards and Gergard Mousasi about a month later. If Eblen wins, which I believe to be whoever he fights against either side, then we will definitely need to look deeper into the battle between Eblen and Adesanya for the best of the world.
