Creator Twig (@heyitstwig25) has decided to signal complaints on Tiktok with several different videos. The original, which came out on Saturday, has over 131,000 views as of Sunday. Similar Follow-up video It has earned over 16,000 views in a slightly shorter time span.

“Hey, Carmax, let’s talk about how we sold a 2014 Subaru nine months ago for $15,000. Now we’re already unreliable and need a new transmission and a new engine,” she begins her complaint. “And I think this doesn’t feel like bad luck on my part, but I think it’s not your fault.”

Twig continues. “I’m driving a car from your lot and I know that I’m not the only one who’s ever happened less than a year after I bought it.

Tiktoker claims it’s “good reputation” [CarMax] She says it’s “a bit ironic” that the car they sold went off work after having it in less than a year.

After that she threatens to use her social media holdings as a weapon — she has around 60,000 followers on Tiktok — “Now, I really want you to get this right, but if you don’t, I won’t keep publishing until this is blown away [expletive] above. “

Twig says he tried to reach Carmax through multiple channels without responding.

What is this 125-point engine check she talks about?

in article On the Carmax site entitled “How Carmax Cars Reach Lots,” automotive engineers claim that they will perform an over 125 point inspection process on each vehicle. A small portion of the inspection includes engine components and associated systems for proper operation, leaks, corrosion, corrosion, connections, or excessive wear.

“We spend hours on details replacing parts, fixing major dents and scratches, making every car feel new,” it continues. “When the vehicle completes this process, Carmax is officially certified, meaning it meets or exceeds the quality standards.”

But redditor R/Carmax Forum “I bought a test-driven vehicle and a vehicle that I found multiple issues after purchase, which really raised questions about the inspection process as it was shipped to a location near me.

“I bought a car for them and found a lot of issues after the windows I bought, dents, scuffs etc., but it was that almost a lot of the area was not cleaned. Even a few items that belonged to the previous owners found me.

Viewers are lined up with her

With Twig’s obvious bid for online support, she found many people she thought was wrong.

“The nine month old girl is for a long time to blame the dealer,” the person said.

“Carmax should not pay her back,” another wrote.

“Yeah, especially how she ended the video,” someone else replied. “She felt the right. No one would be by her side.”

“The car is 11 at this point and has already had it for nine months,” someone else pointed out. “Even with multipoint testing, there can be a failure at any time.”

Finally, I predicted that someone else would like to “take a bet on whether she was about to start funding me or asking for a donation.”
