Apple’s Mac announcement week started on October 28th, with all the announcements officially announced.
The lineup includes a refreshed iMac with a new M4 chip and updated color options, as well as redesigned accessories (keyboards, mice, and trackpads) with USB-C ports.
Apple also announced the rollout of Apple Intelligence, a suite of cutting-edge artificial intelligence-powered features for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. In addition to these, Apple announced redesigned Mac Mini and M4 Pro chips.

new iMac Now comes with accessories that use a USB-C charging port instead of Lightning. All USB-C ports also support the fastest Thunderbolt 4 standard, allowing you to transfer large videos and other files faster. The display is still a 24-inch panel with 4.5K resolution, but Apple is now offering a “nano-textured glass” option designed to reduce reflections and glare for an additional $200.
There are also several other updates. Base RAM has been increased to 16GB, double that of the previous model, with options up to 32GB on higher versions. The new iMac also has a 12MP webcam and introduces Apple Intelligence features that are finally rolling out. These include AI-powered writing and editing tools and a redesigned Siri powered by ChatGPT.

The entry-level model costs $1,299 and comes with two USB-C ports, while the high-end model costs $1,499 and comes with four ports.

As the name suggests, mac mini is a compact computer that can handle some serious workloads. First introduced in 2005 and keeping the same design until 2010, Apple finally changed the design with the latest model. They shrunk the case and cut the volume of the computer in half. The new Mini is a 5″ x 5″ box and is just 2″ tall, while the older model measures 7.75″ x 7.75″ and is 1.41″ thick.
The main upgrade in the new computers is that they include either Apple’s latest chip, the M4 or a more powerful version called the M4 Pro. of M4 mini The front is equipped with two USB-C ports and a headphone jack. These front USB-C ports support USB 3 at speeds up to 10Gbps.
On the back, there are three USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports (up to 40Gbps), as well as Ethernet and HDMI connections. The higher-end M4 Pro also features Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, with transfer speeds of up to 120Gbps and the ability to connect up to three displays.

Apple also made some big updates to its MacBook Pro lineup, introducing more powerful chips and new features. The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, announced on October 30, are powered by Apple’s new M4 series processors. M4 pro And the even higher end M4 Max. The 14-inch base model now has an additional USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 port on the right side, as well as a new Space Black color option.
