Pope Francis, 88, passed away on Monday and will be placed to rest on Saturday.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Square at 10am (1am, 4am) on April 26th, with Cardinal governing the services. Pope Francis’ co- is then transferred to St. Mary’s Major for burial.

Pope Francis died after his battle with pneumonia.
According to the Vatican, “Stroke has been identified as the cause of Pope Francis’ death, followed by coma and irreversible cardiac disruption.”
The Vatican website statement continued. “According to the medical report, the Pope had a past history of acute respiratory failure caused by multimicrobial bilateral pneumonia, multiple bronchial ectases, hypertension, and type II diabetes.”
