An easy way to keep everything organized is to create group tabs. Today, we will show you how to create group tabs in your favorite browsers like Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, etc. First, let’s go through the basics of tabbed browsing.
Tabbed browsing allows you to open multiple websites in the same browser window. This multitasking ability is essential for keeping track of different online resources at the same time, such as email, research, work articles, and the latest news.

How to create a new tab
Creating a new tab is like adding another piece of paper to your desk. It’s easy:
- In most browsers, “+” To open a new tab, you usually click the icon next to the last tab on the tab bar.
- Alternatively, you can use keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+T Windows or Command + T On a Mac, you can open new tabs without using the mouse.

Creating tab groups in Microsoft’s Edge browser is also a simple process.
- Right click Any tab To create a group, right-click on any other tab and to add In groups or simply Drag and drop Add it to the tag group.

Creating tabs in Apple’s Safari browser is a bit different than the two above. To create a tab group, follow these steps:
- First, in your Safari window, Down Arrow from the toolbar at the top left.

Tab grouping is a feature built into most browsers, but Firefox itself doesn’t support it. The easiest way to do this is with one of your favorite browser extensions.
