Jackson Lee, a Hillary Clinton-supporting congressman who built a reputation as one of the “sneaky” congressmen in Washington, has represented the same Houston, Texas, area in the House of Representatives for more than 28 years.
In March, Jackson Lee ran for mayor of Houston in an off-year election, but winning would mean the end of his term in Congress.

The man told representatives he gave the piece of paper to Jerome, who took it upstairs. The staff member then tells Jackson Lee that he has to call Jerome and is hung up.
“I don’t want you to do this, but… [expletive] I mean,” she said. [expletive] brain. Please read it. I want people to say, “Senator, that was the kind of date we went on.” That’s what I want. That’s the kind of staff I’m looking for. ”

Ms. Jackson Lee criticized her staff for how she expects them to respond to events on their calendars, particularly those from Black Heritage Society founder Ovide Duncantel. He continued to yell profanities at the staff.
The lawmaker said people who receive information about an event should know when and where the event will take place, rather than pawning the information to others.
However, in this case, the staff member played the audio as if he had passed it on to another staff member.

“When I called Jerome, he just sat there like a fat [expletive]just telling you what it is [expletive] He doesn’t know,” she said. “No one respects him, no one respects him [expletive] about what you’re doing.and you haven’t done it [expletive]. And this is one example. I gave it to Jerome. This is not a kid’s job, I get it,” Jackson Lee said.
The congressman did not immediately respond to Fox News’ inquiries about the recording.

This is not the first time Jackson Lee has verbally abused staff. In fact, in 2011, a Daily Caller report cited a number of former staffers who said she used demeaning language and slurs when speaking to them.
She was also accused of forcing her staff to work long hours into the early morning hours and requiring her to drive them wherever they went, no matter how short the distance.
Jackson Lee joined the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) in 2019 following a lawsuit by a former employee who claimed he was fired in 2015 in retaliation for a planned lawsuit related to an alleged rape by his boss. He was forced to resign as chairman. .
According to the New York Times, which first reported on Jackson Lee’s plans to resign, after the lawsuit became public a week ago, CBCF directors asked Jackson Lee to step down as chairman or else. He is said to have instructed him to vote for dismissal.
In the lawsuit, an anonymous former employee alleges that she was raped by the foundation’s internship program coordinator and her then-supervisor while interning at CBCF. Two years later, she was hired to work for Jackson Lee, who had recently become chairman of the CBCF board. Doe said she received a text message from then-CBCF Chief Executive A. Shauniece Washington shortly after Jackson Lee was hired.

Mr. Washington allegedly sent a message to Jackson Lee saying, “I received a notification that a new employee has arrived,” naming the employee by name. “Call me. I know her background.”
The staffer made the announcement in 2018, about two weeks after she told Jackson’s chief of staff, Glenn Rushing, that she had “learned more about recent incidents involving Mr. Jones and CBCF and intended to pursue legal action.” He said he was fired in March. Basics.
