Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry have appeared in La Heist’s flick “Crime 101,” and spoke to “Extra’s” Roqui Theus in an Amazon MGM presentation at Cinemacon 2025.
The film stars Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and the late Val Kilmer compared to the 1995 crime drama Heat.
Halle called Val “an incredible actor,” and Chris added:
Regarding “Crime 101”, I think there will be some kind of influence around “Heat” and “Thomask Cross Affair.” I think our writer director, Bart Leighton, is pulling. I think it’s clearly a robbery movie. It’s like the complications and the physical world you know.
Hale praised the experience of making a film, saying, “I think this is one of the best movie sets I’ve ever worked on. All the gentlemen in this film are gentlemen. That doesn’t always happen.

Chris continued. “I thought we all could get great materials, but I was able to see my personal relationship and for me personally, I was inspired for years, and I was able to sit on the other side of their space and work and learn from them.”
Chris’ Thor had to go back to “Avengers: Doom’s Day” and, along with the “X-Men” character, ask Halle if he could see a storm!
Hare laughed and quickly shut it down with a simple “no.”
Chris said, “I wanted… I was like, ‘Do you know I don’t?” ”
“No,” Hare declared again.
