P.Housing candidate Nikki Haley reflected on her time at the United Nations at City Hall in South Carolina on Monday, recounting some of the animosity other nations had toward the United States.

Worst of all, she said, many of those countries receive billions of dollars in foreign aid from the United States.

“When I become president, I will no longer give money to countries that hate America,” Haley told attendees at a city hall in Monks Corner, South Carolina.

“When I was at the United Nations, there were two things I knew Russia, China, Iran and our enemies would never want from the United States,” she said. “They didn’t want us to have a strong military, and they didn’t want us to be energy independent.”

“We need to do both,” Haley said. “A strong army does not start wars. A strong army prevents wars.”

She added that “when it comes to energy independence, we will no longer rely on Saudi Arabia for oil or buy what we decry as ‘dirty oil from Venezuela or Iran’.” .

Haley noticed how often it felt like other nations were opposing the United States at the United Nations, and asked how often each member state voted against the United States, and how much foreign aid the United States received from the United States. was given to them.

“I took the book and gave it to President Trump,” she told voters. “He lost his mind.”

She said America would “stop trying to bribe friends. Stop rewarding enemies. Last year we gave $50 billion in foreign aid.”

“Do you know who we gave it to?” she asked.

“Pakistan, which harbored terrorists who tried to kill our soldiers; Iraq, which is under the influence of Iran, who says ‘Death to America’ every day; Zimbabwe, the most anti-American country in Africa; Belarus, which is holding hands with Russia. They are invading Ukraine,” Haley said.

“We are funding communist Cuba and have designated Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism,” she added.

“And the most embarrassing thing is that we fund China,” she said.

Haley’s campaign said on Monday it would deliver a “major foreign policy address” on China at the American Enterprise Institute on Friday.
